Water/Sewer Damage
Water damage (water contamination) can strike your home or company at any time from tornadoes, floods, pipes bursting, roof leaks, sprinkler system discharges, toilet overflow, leaking sink, leaking shower, or even something as small as a leaking door or window.
No matter where the water originated from, damage can quickly cause material deterioration, corrosion, rotten wood, and if left wet with a high moisture content to building materials, it can even compromise the integrity of the structure.
Moisture left unattended can promote different types of mold and mildew growth. Some mold can grow in as little time as 48 – 72 hours. This is why it's critical that your home or office begin the drying process within the first 24 – 48 hours of finding the water contamination.
Once finding the water contamination, contact us immediately. The quicker we can respond, the less invasive the drying process will need to be. Just because items within the structure are wet does not mean they are damaged. We use different drying methods along with multiple detection tools to find the source of the problem and correct its effects to the structure. Our Services include (click a heading to expand/contract):
-
Determining the Source
Using penetrating and non-penetrating moisture detection meters, hydrometers and thermal imaging cameras that help us to pinpoint the exact source of the water contamination.
-
Providing Annual Moisture Detection Surveys
With this, we provide detailed documentation showing the status of the structure. This prevents a small moisture problem from becoming a large reconstruction problem. CLICK HERE for more information.
-
Air Movement
-
Dehumidification
-
Heat Drying
-
Documentation
With detailed charts showing moisture content and relative humidity in affected areas. These readings are taken from the first day to the completion of the drying, showing the progress of the drying.
